Question about Government MKII

I think they were...don't remember now. Perhaps Pverzal can chime in on that.

Yes.

I just picked up a really nice stainless government target dated 2000 w/o a box or test target. Chet mentioned that they didn't continue with the test targets through their lifespan. This leads me to two questions:

1. Would there have been a test target on this 2000 mfg.?

2. Would I be looking for a yellow/black one-piece box?

I have a 2005 Gov't Target delivering to me next week with test target.

Hum.....that's the last year of production, and it has a test target? What about the case, plastic or yellow/black cardboard?

I'm starting to think mine was plastic too.

Hmmm....that would suggest a test target coming with all of MK678G production, which simply isn't true (Mark II's were discontinued in 2004/2005).
Would like to see a pic of your target along with the date signed.

Target not signed. But neither is my 1988 Gov't Target's test target. Any idea of serial number of last Gov't Target?

Here's my recent addition (2000 KMK-678G). Picked up the package for $400. No test target or box. He said it didn't come with a test target when he bought it new, so I'll have to take his word for it.

I will check all mine and see if any do not have test targets. I have several NIB. I have see two 5.5 bull barrels with test targets.

Mine came with two mags and all the paperwork except the test target. Mags are silver eagle on red. Just like the grips.

There was no reason to send test targets with 5-1/2" bull barrels.
The 5-1/2's were never advertised as being test targeted.
