10/22 Compact Barrel

Is it possible to buy the 10/22 youth model 16.5" barrel from Ruger? I've searched their website and see heavy contour target barrels and barrels for the take down version but no other options. Thanks; Mike

I don't know about ruger but you can get a 16.5" fluted bbl from
green Mountain.

Check Ebay often. I bought an excellent used one, like new take off, for less than $60.00 including shipping this past month. Have seen a number of them available. They really make for a very compact and light carbine.

There are several factory 10/22 16" barrels (used/take off) listed on Ebay currently.

I just bought a used youth rifle and changed to Hogue stock.
