Good day to all my Ruger Brethren!

I am reconfiguring an early, stainless 77/22, having the paddle or skeleton stock. Initially, it was born as a 22LR and, years ago, I found a Lilja 22 magnum barrel that needed a home. I am looking for the magazine latch block, which is unique to the boat paddle synthetic gun. Ruger acts like the part doensn't exist (calling BS) and is refusing to even acknowledge a part number or information. No regular parts supplier has one. I have checked with Numrich and Jack First.

The part I need is the silver housing shown in the picture. Any help is appreciated.

Very Difficult to locate parts. They are different for LR and WMR also.

I have seen threads where they are made by cutting apart factory "bottom metal". I will see if I can find the thread and post the link.

If you can find it's part # in the parts list at the end of this Ruger manual on their website that comes with the gun, how can they say it wasn't made?
