Ruger MK ll with flash compensator

I recently found a Goverment Target model with flash compensator. I have seen the MK 1 with a compensator Just spoke with Ruger customer service After checking with another tech she told me the Ruger MK ll had a few factory produced with this The pistol was made in 1991.

Any more information would be appreciated

Volquartsen makes a nice compensator that replaces the front sight.
