Well could not get to range today so just shot in my small range at the house. Targets shot at 50yds. Wouldn't win any bullseye matches but would wear out squirrels and tin cans. Top right target 10 yds rapid fire. Threw 3 off of target. All others fired a round per second or less. Ammo was Walmart Federal Lightning. All rounds fired and extracted. Will try some target ammo next time.

Picture is worth 1000 rounds!!!!

Thanks for the report. The TD model is on my short list.

How do you think it would serve in the "Steel Challenge" game? Mobile enough for sure, is it stable enough for rapid fire if pushed into sub-1 second/round territory? You gotta have a well tuned trigger finger at that point as well as the generally great dynamics of the 10/22.

Look out tree rats! Did you take your gun apart between groups. Mine holds zero fine.

Geez, I figured you could at least ONE of those quarters, at least ONCE! :)

Just kidding. Great shooting. I gotta build me a little bench. My inlaws have an old tobacco barn on their farm, and setting up beneath the lean-to portion for shade would be ideal...

Not sure of the weight difference and how it would affect "steel challenge" shooting, but my wood stocked one seems heavier. My TD version definately needed trigger work, lot of creep and overtravel, 7-8 lb pull with stock trigger. Just got a Hornet trigger and will see if my groups get smaller.
