Hi just joined the forum ,reside in a rural area of Australia on East coast approx 600 kilometres north of Sydney.
Area is known as New England Tablelands, mainly cattle grazing but a few sheep.
Property only small around 600 acres.
Just bought a Ruger 17HMR Stainless with a black synthetic stock think the Model number is RMP ??
( purchased it privately with little info from seller!)
Want to fit a Leupold 3-9x40 scope but some confusion over what rings to fit.
Want to fit stainless rings to match action/barrel but unsure if I will require high or low rings.
Looked at Ruger ring chart & the ring I think I should go with is the 5K High 90283 in stainless I suspect .
Could somebody who has fitted these rings please confirm if I am on right track.
Also could somebody steer me indirection of US seller who will export these rings to Australia??
Optics Planet & Amazon wont export to OZ!!
Cheers
Dusty

Forget the "alternates", use the drop down menu to get to the genuine Ruger rings.

If Ruger won't export, then try Midwayusa.com They are huge exporter of restricted gun stuff.

I forgot to add that Ruger shows max diameter of objective end, but in my experience the clearance issues on a 77/22 are with the OCULAR end clearing the bolt. A large diameter eyepiece can cause problems that can't be solved by rings of any height.

I am almost certain that all rotary bolt guns use the same rings. Including 357/44 and Hornet.

About Midway, I goofed. They do not have a partner down under. Sorry.
