Thanks

Thanks. Add to these shopruger.com ;) where I found the MK III mainspring assembly but not the bolt.

As always, Numrich has the most comprehensive listing of parts but are (frustratingly) sold out of the bolt assembly.

Any non traditional etailers with stripped parts and sub assemblies?

If I'm not mistaken the bolt is a restricted item by Ruger, nobody will have a restricted item because Ruger won't sell them. If you need one you send your gun to ruger to get it.

Numerich has used bolts from time to time but they go very very fast.

Nah, MkIII bolts are sold. I think you can even order one from Ruger over the phone.

Shopruger.com doesn't have all the parts in the catalogue available online, but a quick call to their AZ parts line got me just what I wanted. A new SS bolt assembly and a new mainspring assembly should be here in a few days. Painless and in stock, same price as Numrich. (Brownell's didn't have much in eth way of parts stock listed.) The folks at Ruger phone sales didn't know why the bolt wasn't listed on their site, tho'.

Midway has them but they are back ordered. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/638689 ... less-steel

Thanks. Ruger had them both in stock.

For those lurking, the complete SS MK III bolt assembly part number to order from Ruger is 61702, and the MK III Mainspring Housing Latch Assembly is 61036. (Ruger part KA00910-100)
