I tried a S&W Centennial frame and LCR side-by-side at the gunshop just to see if I can feel a marked difference in the trigger pulls... not really, not enough.

Good technique and a modicum of hand strength obviate any real, supposed advantages...

I have a S&W Model 40-1 Centennial and a Ruger LCR. The LCR's double action trigger measures 9 pounds on my Lyman digital trigger pull gauge. My Centennial's pull cannot be measured because the Lyman scale only goes to 12 pounds. The little S&W is well over that.

To my trigger finger, the LCR's pull is much lighter.
