I wonder if the Super Redhawk Alaskan® Rubber Monogrip (with internal Sorbothane insert) is a good fit for the Ruger Redhawk .44 Magnum. Is there a size difference in the grips/grip frame?

Thanks.

The Redhawk is a full grip frame, and two piece grip.
The Super Redhawk uses the grip post like the sp101, and gp100, and is a mono grip.
You can switch between the Super Redhawk, and the two gp100 sizes, but not the Redhawk, and Super Redhawk. They are two totally different grips, and grip frame.

Thanks for the information folks. I didn't know about the grip frame difference. The "Alaskan" grip looks like it would be more comfortable and manage recoil even better than the monogrip on my 4" .44 Magnum Redhawk. It seems like it would, considering the firepower and weight differences.
