happened upon a Blackhawk 357 conversion with a 9mm cylinder.

6 inch barrel, $449

I left without it.

thoughts??

Hmm, a few confusing statements. "Conversion?" Perhaps you meant convertible?

6" barrel? 6-1/2" is the normal measurement and/or 4-5/8".

Is the gun an Old Model, a "pre-warning New Model" or a current production New Model?

Lot's of variables that will indeed influence the value.

Sounds like a 357 BH conertible with the 9mm cylinder in weapon. Where was the 357 cylinder?

If it was stock without the 357 cylinder, run is what you should have done. $200-250, without the 357 cylinder.

If you send it to Ruger to get a new 357 cylinder it will be 100-175 dollars before you get it back.
