Grips and hammer by the looks of it. I'll pass.

SBH hammer is a nice mod. Grips can be changed. I like it ;-)

I just swap the hammer on my new vaquero and viola! I have a SASS pistol but in 45 Colt. BTW ... can I swap to the new montado hammer? Is it just a standard SBH hammer?

It has a "cross checked" pattern on the spur.

as other people said, there's the "montado" hammer. which is almost identical to the SBH hammer.

there's the medallions in the grips,

But I think the neatest thing is they come in matched sets with unique ser #'s. The "SASS" prefix and the consecutive ser #. I'm not saying i'm going to run out and buy a pair, but i do think that's neat.

That is if Barry lets us keep our guns.

I'm sorry, I've never liked the SASS logo, and I just couldn't buy them with those medallions on them.

I really like the looks of the hammer on it, but the grips would have to go.

The other feature is the sights. The rear notch is wider. If you haven't seen a Vaquero with a wider cut rear sight you might not know what you are missing. They do help get a fast sight picture quicker.

I hope they sell. If I had that kind of money I would have to get a pair too. I guess that I am stuck in the times when you could pick up a Ruger single action for $300 or less.

Like the Montado, they just have a nice feel to them. If you don't like the grips, they are sure enough easy to change. Me, I'll keep my 'Flattops', I need the sights with my old eys!
