I have a 38 LCR that is my every day carry gun. I like everything about it and think it is about perfect for concealed carry.

But I have noticed that it has pretty substantial machining marks in the bore. Funny thing is, it shoots great. Even though it is a snub nose I shoot it frequently, from up close to out to 20 yards, and it is very accurate. They say if it ain't broke don't fix it, and I won't, but I am curious if anyone else has a rough bore in their LCR

I've had my 38 LCR for 6 or 7 years now and carry it daily.

My bore seems normal or average. The lands are smooth and shiny and the grooves don't indicate anything unusual.

The finish they put on these guns is amazing ….. still looks new even after all these years living in a Galco leather holster.

Just one of those things I guess. My LCR is also old, got it soon after they came out, and it too looks good as new.
