A while back I found a vaquero in 45 long colt, 7 1/2" barrel in polished stainless, at my LGS. It appears unshot. It came with the yellow box and the shipping box. Is this model rare? What would the value be?

He also sold me a used sbh in 44 mag with a 10.5" barrel. Artillery?

Does the box label say it's a high polish from the factory?

All Vaqueros and New Vaqueros in stainless have a high polish.

Wow, had no clue on that one!

I should stick to my double actions and OLD models.

As the previous post indicated, the rarest Vaquero that I am aware of is the .32-20/.32 H&R mag. convertible. I was fortunate enough to find one several years ago, when I went to pick it up (10 day wait), they had another, serial number was consecutive to the one I was picking up, now I have two. I also ended up with a Vaquero in .38-40/.40 S&W, I don't know how many were made but I haven't seen many for sale.

My vaquaro is 7 1/2" barrel, 45 long colt in polished stainless I'll dig out the box. It came with two boxes a shipping box too.

My SBH 10.5" barrel in blue is a cannon.

I was trying to collect the .45 (old) vaquero's as
they were released back when, then changed my focus to another caliber.
I never did add the 7 1/2" guns. Later as I looked around I seen that they had became a bit scarce and pricey.
Might catch up someday if I run out of .32's to buy.
