I would like to acquire a set of fancy walnut grips for my Old Model 45. Could you guys give me some leads. I do not wish to send my gun off to have them fitted. I am not that picky. I just want a nice set with fancy grain.
Thanks.

Although not for a .45, i recently got a set for an older Charter Arms Off Duty. Excellent quality, i would order from Altamont again

While Altamont & such are good,, may I STRONGLY suggest a member here,, who has an excellent reputation for beautiful, quality grips?

lscg,,, (member name,) who is actually Zane Thompson,, can do exactly what you need at a fair price. Support Forum members,, especially members who support such things as the FoNRA,, & other gun related charities. Zane does this.
BTW; lscg stands for; Lone Star Custom Grips.

I also have SEVERAL sets of grips from Lone Star Custom Grips. Zane is a great guy, and does great work for a reasonable price!
