Bought two Ruger SAs today...OM Bearcat and NM BH .41 Mag

Both are in "infringement jail" for up to a couple of weeks. One was a good deal, I think and the other a better deal.

First to catch my eye was an older Bearcat. Bluing wear, but over all nice...for a 57 year old! Not marked as such, it is an Old Model and I got it for $200 (plus tax). I'll post mug shots when I get home. Serial number is 22,xxx which I think means 1963.

The other is a New Model BH in .41 Magnum. Blued with a 6.5" barrel and wearing Pachy stocks. Serial is 47- prefix, so should be from around 1987 if my quick check was right. Has a little holster wear and a dirty bore, but otherwise looks pretty good. $300 for this one. I took quick picks at the store and will post later.

Pretty good for both I think. Especially from Cabelas!

Clean them up a bit, and you have a couple of good shooters that will be around for long time. And the price was right on them. Enjoy!!

The serial number on the Bearcat would make it a 1962. They ran from17468 - 23687 in '62.
