Can't seem to find the years that the Bisley was produced in 357. I am talking about the original 7.5 blued variation. I assume. probably incorrectly, it was offered in this caliber from the start in mid 80s but not sure when they stopped making them in that configuration. I don't know the catalog number for this variation. Anyone have the knowledge on this?

Thanks

The known serial number range for the blue variety with rollmarked cylinder is 36-74573 to 37-81728 (1986 to 2004).

Thanks, Chet!

That's roughly 7k produced. No wonder it is hit and miss finding them at times. Though I see the value has softened some.

To imply serial #36-74573 to #37-81728 covers 7,155 revolvers, in a span of 18 years (or 397 per year), fails to consider the numbers include two prefixes. Perhaps Tyrone or another member will clarify the prefix caper.

No, that spans 107,000 numbers. And don't forget that every .357 Blackhawk model will also be found in that 107,000. The RB35W just represents a very small percentage of that, probably a lot less than 7k.

I didn't consider the prefix change or think this covered all blackhawks.

Thanks to those who know more!

Probably the rarest of all, it would be nice to know how many in this model were made, my bet is one of the rarest of all Bisley Blackhawks, no doubt the rarest 357 Blackhawk? I would really like to know.

The initial stainless 5 1/2" Bisley's were via Acusport. The later ones came through Williams.
