LGS has a 4" SS Sec-Six. Serial # is a 150 prefix which I believe is a low back. Metal is nice but the stock's are worn. Is it worth $375+taxes and NICS? If I buy it I'd clean it up and replace the stocks. What are they worth?

Worth 50% more than asking price to the right person.

Low back stainless Six Series are very scarce.

I'll take it if you don't.

Not all 150-s are low back.

I have a Speed Six 150-998xx that's the new grip frame.

Well, the LGS and I were are to come to terms and I am now the expecting father of a 4" stainless low back. In a couple months it'll be MINE, MINE, ALL MINE!
Now to find a better set of grips for it.

Hittman wrote that stainless low backs are very scarce. Any idea on how many were made? Not that I intend to sell it unless dire circumstances arise.
