From my other post on my 2005 New Vaquero...
My NV has such nice hammer pull feeling lighter than my new .44 NM BH Flattop.
Trigger pull of the NV is a bit more crisp without creep.
Here is the picture of the 2005 NV spring package.
Here is the Flattop spring package which is factory Ruger.
Now I know the NV has the trigger lock but can you determine if that is the stock
New Vaquero hammer spring?
To me it looks like a lighter spring and I notice when moving both springs around, side to side,
the NV spring moves and flexes easier. Both the trigger springs measure .044 wire diameter.
Could it just be the difference in hammer style that makes the NV feel easier to cock?
For a factory Ruger that 2005 NV is sure sweet during cocking and trigger release!
Now I run both with one leg of trigger spring off the pin.
