I've been a "revolver guy" for years but lately I've been thinking about jumping into the semi-auto realm. I'd like to hear your opinions on the Ruger EC9s. My biggest concern is the trigger pull and trigger length. I have arthritis in my trigger finger and a long trigger pull would be a deal breaker.
Thanks for your input. :)

The EC9s is the economy version of the LC9s, which I have. I really like the gun. Trigger is fairly short and light, much better than any of the other brands of similar sized pistol I tried. I'd suggest a visit to a gun store to handle one.

Ron I have an EC9s and think for the money it's a nice handgun. If you are unsure about it you might want to got to a gun shop and give it a try. If it's a little longer than you like try the LC9 or LC9s. Another gun I've been impressed with is the Security 9. It's a low $300+ gun holds 15 rounds and have a very nice grip. It's more of a mid size gun, which might work better for you.
