DOM & Value of early Bearcat?

What year was my Bearcat manufactured, serial #2488. What is the value? It has some blue wear on end of muzzle from holster and a very small scratch in ejector housing otherwise it is in VG+ condition. Also has a Black Sheep brand holster Model 4432 in excellant condition. Thansk

Shipped in 1960 I believe.
Value; W/o pics & a serious study,, it can be between $400-$500.
