Is it just me or does that thing look more like a Charter Arms then a Colt? They need to go a head and make a Python and kill the over priced markets of Pythons.

The original King Cobra sold for slightly less than the 686/586 S&W (a better revolver IMHO). I have a 22wmrf Trooper and wish they'd reissue that!

Marketing strategy based on a cheaper product with name recognition. Not much there there.

I saw this thread and coincidentally I handled a used example at a local gun shop. This 3" King Cobra fit my hand perfectly. I dry fired it in both single and double action. Very smooth and crisp trigger. I am smitten. It seems to meet all my conceal carry revolver needs. I may have to go back for another look tomorrow.

Well, flash forward to the next day. I went back and looked it over again. I bought it.....
Won't receive it until the paperwork clears in a couple of days. Can't wait to get it to the range. :D
