Gun is a new .357 stainless New Blackhawk Flattop with a 4 5/8" barrel.
Also, it is unclear as to the weight of the gun. The website lists it at 46 oz., while the same model in blued steel is listed at 36 oz, and the 5 1/2" model at 40 oz. This does not seem to maker sense.
Thanks.

Correct. Also the blue Blackhawks have AL alloy grip frames which accounts for 5-6 oz of
difference from the steel framed guns.

But that still doesn't explain why the 4 5/8" stainless flattop is rated at 46 oz, while the 5 1/2" stainless flattop is listed at 40 oz. That can't be right.
Plus, both 5 1/2" Blackhawks (stainless and blued) are rated at 40 oz.
