2 3/4". The catalog# is GS 82, the 8 is for .38 special and the 2 is for 2 3/4"

Don't forget .38 S&W! But they're unicorns, and I can't imagine why anyone other than a collector would want one.

My first firearm purchase was a blue 4" .38 Special, which I carried guarding security while in college. I currenty own a stainless 2.75" 9 mm, for which I've obtained a .357 Magnum cylinder - a convertible DA revolver! I'll carry it today.
