There is a .327 Blackhawk listed on Armslist for $500, the location is Kingston, Massachusetts. Buyers beware of scam, but if you are in that area it might be worth checking out. That is about 1/2 mkt value. I would be very leary of a long distance transaction of armslist.

Says made in 1991 , quite pre - 327. Probably a 32 mag, maybe reamed for .327.
Who knows , just guessing.
Looking at cyl. notches I would also guess Single -Six sized gun.

I suspect it's a 32 H&R Single Six that's been rechambered. IIRC, the 327 was an 8 shot SS Blackhawk, not the Single Six pictured. Bob!!

It is a Single Six, judging by the size of cylinder relative to grip frame. Also looks like 6-shot cylinder. I'll 2nd the 32 H&R mag reamed out to 327. The only 327 Blackhawks I am aware of were stainless guns with 8 shot cylinders.

Either the seller is flatout lying or is so ignorant they don't know the difference. Bob!!! :?

I'm not sure a SSM , what the gun pictured is, cylinder is long enough for a 327 loaded round. The 32 H&R mag loads come pretty much to the end of the cylinder . The 327 would stick out the end of the cylinder. Still a nice 32 mag , if that is what it still is chambered for. If it has been rechambered to 327 ,well avoid it like the plague !

Certainly wrong model named and wrong cartridge named.
It's clearly a six shot and clearly a 32 H&R Mag (not 22) by the length of the cyl; just a bit closer to the front of the frame window and with a larger headspace in back for non-recessed 32 rims.

Many know that the 327 FM is too long for the single six cyl.

But very few know that it works and only a ten minute ream job even by hand. Although 327 Fed Mag factory loads stick out of the cyl .003", the barrel/cyl gap allows 327s to rotate as long as overall length does not exceed off-the-shelf ammo.

So Eric is right, as he posted it could have been reamed to 327 Fed Mag. But if seller doesn't know a Blackhawk from a single six, they likely don't know 32 Mag and 327 mag are two different cartridges either. Or they would have stated it's been reamed to 327 FM.

All factory 327 Single sevens are obviously 7 shots, and they have non-fluted cyls.

And $500 is still too high for a SS 32 Magnum anyway.

According to RENE, there were three 4-5/8"" ones and apparently no 9-1/2" ones. The rest are presumably 5-1/2" and 6-1/2" guns. I'm not aware of a breakdown between the latter.

"I have a 32mag. cyl. reamed for .327 you have to watch over all length but its a great shooter. Eric"

Eric what gun did you have recut to 327 ? The 327 runs 45K and the 32 H&R mag runs 22K pressure ? Just curious.
