Just became aware of the new lipseys sbh with a 3.75" barrel chambered for 45 colt and 45 acp. Lusted after the 7.5" hunter for years, and they're mostly unobtainable and frightfully expensive when they are. I will own one of the new ones.

Any guesses on timeline to availability?

How did it "snap in two"?

What broke? The sight itself or the screw?
Windage or elevation?

Glad Ruger took care of it.

Amazing, never heard of that before, had to be defective, bad casting or something.
By "blade" snapped I presume you mean the thin tang at the front?
Is it the new steel sight with the bird embossed on top of the tang?

I visited mine at the gun shop this week and it's a beauty trying to get it paid for, I can't believe they are all sold out.
