1. A GP100 in 22LR with a full lug 4 inch barrel

2. A New Model Blackhawk in 22 LR with an unfluted cylinder and 4 5/8 barrel

Both in stainless steel, of course.

One that works like it's supposed to out of the box, and doesn't need to have major parts like the grip frame properly fitted, or have major polishing done. You know - like they used to make them back in the day.

- 8 shot New Vaquero (midframe) .327. (I see there is now a fluteless Single Seven SS shorty Vaquerito (my...well actually older Ruger term from the 90s)

- .38-40/10mm/.40 triple cylinder convertible New Vaquero (midframe). In a separate thread post, I've described my contemplated custom from a donor .357 NV as "significant" Pre War/blackpowder cyl/flute chamfer for the .38-40, fluteless 10mm, and .40 in an otherwise stock fluted cylinder.

I agree on the Stainless Bisley Blackhawk, .45 LC, but can't decide on the barrel length. Love the 5.5" barrel, but the 4.625" barrel holsters well, and the 6.5" balances well, and the 7.5" shoots well. So.....
I need the factory frame with the matching hard case with the 4 barrels. I had a .357 Dan Wesson cased set like that once, and like an idiot, I sold it. Why? Because I made a profit of $50. Still kick myself.

Fixed sights SP101 with 2.25" barrel and 6 or 7 shots in .327 with the Ruger logo wood inserts in the grips.
(don't know if the cylinder could handle 7 though, so 6 would still be great)
Just ordered the newly reintroduced 3" SP101 .327 Federal.

Now to wish For Ruger/Lipsey to make a glossy stainless Single Seven 3.5" barrel .327 federal with a Colt Lightning-style grip frame like the Cimarron/Uberti offering. (with faux ivory grip panels)

Blue and Color Case Hardened NM Vaquero in 45 Schofield caliber, 7 1/2" barrel, stag grips. They made this model with black cheese grater grips for a short time in 45 Colt, the New Model Vaquero is a medium frame revolver, let's take the medium length 45 case and come up with some medium pressure 23,000psi loads for it and make the perfect mid-level package for 45 caliber.

I have this gun in all blue finish, 45 Schofield caliber, 5 1/2" barrel, and it is a joy to handle and shoot!

Dream revolver would be gp style in 45lc/45acp.. or a super Redhawk in 357 maximum. Or a new super Redhawk in the longest 357 cartridge that fits in the existing srh..

My current dream is slowly coming to fruition! I have a Davidson's talo 6" ss gp-100 on the way. Messaged Dave Clements to convert said revolver into a 41 special with action job. I await the wait!

Hopefully I haven't already posted in this thread.

I really like my ( large frame ) 3.5 inch Vaquero Sheriffs. A similar Blackhawk would be nice .
