I never realized before how much a Blackhawk resembles a long string of metadata...

How are you getting all that long line of ..... html(?)

I upload to PB, go to 'Library', find the pic .... off to the right is a box labeled 'IMG'. I click there, the word 'Copied' pops up and I paste the text to the various forums. The line of txt is pretty short

with ....... at the front
...
and at the end.

Contender.... yes you are, the best kind :)

I like short nosed BH's image a 'what if' they made a 4 5/8" 30!! a masochist ( a person who enjoys an activity that appears to be painful or tedious) would be required to shoot it..... sign me up LOL

Never seen a 30 Carbine Blackhawk that wasn't super accurate & I've owned quite a few of them. Fast, flat, a bit noisy but man do they ever shoot! Plus, with the new models you can shoot 32/20's with just a little bit of tweaking.

Dick, what is the "tweaking" one can do, I have a 1975 BH in 30 carbine, bought a box of 32-20s, they won't chamber. I don't have 32-20 dies, do have 30 Carbine, and a case trimmer.

Never had to do any tweaking with my 30 Carbine, works great with 32-20 brass. I usually use loads in the 32 mag range.

After opening the throats on mine from .305 to .308, it was a shooter. Had no trouble putting all the rounds in a cylinder on a paper plate at 200 yards. (and off field rests, trees and such, not sandbags.)

Silly me, I used it as a donor gun for a conversion. Of course I don't know if I could see a paper plate at 200 yards now, so it might have worked out. ;)

I have had a couple and some were excellent shooters some+/- . The not great ones usually had cylinder throats less than .308 . CAS did the right thing to his gun.

I have kicked myself many time for not buying one when I had the chance. My LGS had an old model for a while and I let it pass and bought a Single Six instead. 20/20 hindsight is great.

I think the .30 Carbine caliber Blackhawks are amongst the loudest handguns I have ever fired

But the .357 Max loaded up with H110 is close!
I love my OM 30 carbine, but hate the Tula ammo I bought, that the steel cases won't eject from the cylinder half the time.
