Saw and interesting "Ruger" today at the gun show.

Well, not really a Ruger Vaquero, but sure looked like one. Had Ruger grips on it and you would think it was a polished stainless gun until you held it. Probably weighed in the neighborhood of a pound. Almost all Aluminum except for a titanium cylinder and aluminum barrel with a steel liner. In 44 special. Should have got a pic of it, but didn't think of it

No, it's not, but... My '81 3" Charter Arms Bulldog .44 Special weighs only 18.7 oz. and it's fine to shoot with 6.5 grs. of Unique and a 235 gr. SWC. That doesn't mean everyone would like one that light. Most people find them unpleasant to shoot. The weight was why I bought it and carried it for years.

We'll never know what the OP saw :(
