If ruger offers the 8 shot 357 mag Redhawk in a 4" barrel, a 6" barrel and a 7 1/2" barrel I'd buy all three. I just picked up a Redhawk in 357 and 41magnum with a 5 1/2" barrels.

I wish they had built this on the Super Redhawk frame and just cut the barrel shroud off.

I like how the grips fit and grip choices on the Super Redhawk much better.

Trigger will respond to spring swaps with less complaint.

I agree 100%. A 8-shot SRH with a long barrel would be my new favorite gun!

But I'm very pleased they offered this Redhawk, in any case.

My S&W 8 shot 357's are so thin around the chambers, that it makes me nervous, even though I'm sure it's fine.

I just ordered mine off the Classifieds here from ACRYLICTNK. Should be here next week. It's big brothers, the 41 and 44 backpacker are anxious to meet him. I wonder how long it will take before the 45 Colt/45ACP version is done? I dream of a 9-shot version in 327 - before you say it'll never happen, the LCR got done and Henry is doing lever guns this year in 327. Hey, a man can dream, can't he??

A friend of mine has one of the 8-shot 327 S&W guns and he uses the moon clips for fast reloads. It really goes fast popping a whole cylinder of shells in at one time. Options... Are nice to have.
