For a non reloader , what brand has been your best experience for a typical cowboy load that's accurate and fairly clean in your Blackhawks ,, And , was looking at Underwoods 255 Grain Lead Keith , 1000FPS hard cast , would that be decent for deer , or would the super hot , bigger bullet with more speed and a lot more energy be better ?? also, I seem to remember reading "most" people seem to prefer a Flat nose Hard cast over a Hollow point for deer ? Thanks :)

The Underwood round will be more than adequate, for deer.

Thanks , I was hopeing it would be , as compared to the 1300 FPS stuff that would recoil bad . iam sure I could shoot it, but think i can concentrate on keeping a better group with the 1000 FPS stuff .

I reload my own, as well as casting my own. So I'm no help in finding a suitable factory produced round for you.
I will give you this as advice though.
A quality cast slug, with a wide flat nose, traveling in the 1000 to 1100 fps range will anchor most anything AND be fairly pleasant to shoot.
