Looks like Ruger will soon be producing a color case hardened Super Blackhawk for TALO's distributors. It has a catalog number of S47N-TURN (Ruger model 0819).
With that "TURN" abbreviation it sounds to me like it will be real color case hardening by Turnbull.
That's all the details we have so far.
Hoping other models will follow :D

All I can say is my wallet is very grateful that they are NOT making a case hardened .357 or .44 Special Blackhawk on the small flattop Anniversary size frame, as I would not be able to resist one of those.

I had to make my own, since Ruger doesn't offere a .44 Spl like that.

Say what?

From the link:

STOCK/FRAME:Alloy Frame
ADDL INFO:Square Back Trigger Guard

So it's going to be a Dragoon grip frame, but made of Aluminum???

I'm assuming its meant as "alloy steel" as opposed to stainless steel.

Nobody in their right mind would offer an aluminum alloy dragoon style grip frame.

Just struck me as strange wording...

'Stainless' is an alloy also...
