Consecutive numbered pair of Ruger Single Six 32 H&R Mag

I have a pair of consecutive number single six's in 32 mag that came into the shop, model number SSM-6 NIB w/ shipper boxes matching the guns. the serial numbers are 650-3XX79,650-3XX80. The consigner wants to sell them and I am looking for a value for the set, he has asked for 1500.00 for set. Is this a fair price?

I think it is probably a reasonable price for the pair. New in box and obsolete---I doubt this model will be made any more. Keep in mind also that the pool of people looking for this set is slim---but the set you have is very hard to come by as well.
