ALL dealers who sell the Boxed Set of SASS Ruger Vaqueros as "singles" are DISREPUTABLE.

They come from factory as a matched pair, in a 2-gun RED plastic box/case, and are a SET from the factory.

They have ONE manual and Two locks included with them.

Breaking them up is just a way to bilk more money out of the buyer.

Not everybody wants 2. Not disreputable, if priced fairly.

Splitting them up is like parting out a brand new Camaro.
Why buy half of a matched set that was manufactured to stay together ???

Ruger sells regular Vaqueros "single".

Naw, they are just revolvers after all. Not the same as parting out a car (although if owner wants to sell parts from it, ... hey it's his car) . Each gun will work separately from the other ;) . Manuals are on-line, and locks are tossed anyway. If the seller wants to sell them singularly that should be fine. As long as buyer and seller are happy ... All good.

So one new owner gets a gun and a lock and no box.
The other new owner gets a gun and a lock and instructions and a box for two guns.
OK..............
I mean if two buddies went to the store to do this is one thing. Anything else seems weird. Even if the prices are fair.
