After a complete bicep tendon rupture and repair (crazy long recovery), this has become my EDC. I have been loading it with the Federal 85 grain low recoil .327 Federal Mag rounds. Once the arm and hand are back to normal, I just might still carry it. I really like it. The grips are Hogues G10.

Mr. S,
You made a good choice for an EDC during your recovery. I bought an LCR357 and carried it loaded with .38 hollow base wadcutters during my one and a half year recovery for a complete rotator cuff repair to my dominant arm. I liked it so well that it remained my EDC and is now loaded with .357 loads.
Best wishes for a complete recovery.

The tendon rupture was in August of 2015. The surgeon reattached it to the bone in September. He told me then, it takes a year for the bone to close around the tendon (he drilled a hole through the bone to pull the tendon down into). It is my dominant arm. I ended up getting a lot of inflammation in my right hand from the surgery. Still going to physical therapy. The LCR isn't too bad with those Federal loads. I've just shot it at 7 yards, but it is accurate. I have worked up reloads (working the press with my left arm, haha) using plated 100 grain bullets over 3.5 grains of 231 in H&R Magnum Starline brass. Nice load to shoot at the range. I have a couple of .32 caliber molds, but not ready to cast with my right arm yet.

I really do like this revolver.

Cheers,

Rick

Six shot with good balistics, and a great trigger in a small package. Pretty perfect if you ask me.

Same here. Better DA trigger than any of my S&W J-Frames. Lots of ammo choices, too.
