I've been looking at Royal Phoenix GP100's and I've come across what seems to be a different highly polished model, #1760 (Royal Phoenix is #1749). Does anyone know when these were manufactured, and if there are any differences between it and the Royal Phoenix? TIA!

I gave my GP100 a high-polish...I used 1500 grit wet/dry sandpaper, then went to 2000 grit, and finished with Mother's Mag Polish...It shines like a mirror...

Looks like the 1760 is an entirely new model. I don't know which distributor Ruger is building them for though.
Here's the Lipsey's webpage showing the Royal Phoenix.

It looks like the only difference really is the type of wood used in the grip...but the 1760 really looks like it is a Hogue grip as well.
