Question regarding case colored Old Army

Found in local gunstore is a color cased old army. Serial number is 140-00409.
The color casing looks faded like one of my old Vaqueros. Did Ruger ever sell any of these or is it after market?

I think it is after market. This is the first ROA with case colored ever. Is it all colored or just the cylinder frame like the vaquero . Can't say never with Ruger so a call to the reords section is the only sure way.

I don't know of any factory CCH old armys. Therefore someone had it done so it's probably not chemical colors like the factory, but the real thing. So you got a nice little bonus on that one. I bet it's very cool looking! Hopefully the hammer was done as well.
