Scored a near mint SP 101 3" 9mm, case, manual and 10 moon clips. Great revolver and, very accurate. Paid too much I think but waiting this long to find one I did cough up the $450. Happy with the deal, another slot filled.

You did well, both on the catch, and the price.

Very nice find. I only know of one other person that has one. That was a good price too. I see the 357's for that price around here and would have believed a 3 in 9mm would go higher.

Welcome to the Forum!
If you think you paid too much at $450 for it,,, I'll POLITELY say it; "You are wrong." You got a very fair deal.

If you got it for $450 you practically stole that thing. I sold my 3" 9mm SP101 for $850 a few months ago.

Look up Jeff Quin's test of the CRX in 9 MM . I was impressed at what velocities he was getting from the short barreled revolver with 9 MM ammo.
BTW you scored on that gun!! Great revolver and limited edition or at least uncommon gun!!

$450 was a very good price for a 9mm SP 101. I would expect of pay that for a run of the mill one in 357. I have a 2" SP 101 in 9mm that is a key part of my SP collection. The new SP's have have MIM hammers that may work great but look awful to my eyes, so NO new ones for me.

Congrats on your SP101. I feel you did well on the price. In California your revolver would go for $650. Great pickup.

You can have a 2-fer. The .357/.38 cylinder could be too long, depending on the manufacturing date, but the .38Spl should be a drop-in. Not to add temptation...
