I have the Redhawk 45 ACP 45 Long Colt. But I have not found rubber grips that fit it. Does anyone make grips for this gun.

I ordered a Tyler T-Grip for mine and it helps a lot. A recent thread on this same subject has a good picture of the same gun with a T-grip on it. Here's the link. http://www.rugerforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=233726

I have found no rubber grips for it. Called Ruger and Hoague with no luck.

Odd, Hogue lists such grips:

Pachmayer too:

TX Nimrod,
Yes those doo fit the Redhawk but not the Redhawk 45 Colt/ 45 acp model. The difference is this Redhawk has the round but grip like a S&W 686. First Model Ruger that has the round but I do believe.
THNX for the link's though.

I've tried just about every grip under the sun on my Redhawks. The pachmayr presention is by far the best for my hands.

Second best was the butler creek/uncle mikes but they are no longer made.

My 44mag RH always wore Pachmayr Presentation (until I designed a grip for my own hands, but that's a different story), and everyone who shot it loved the grips - from a 10 year old friend's dauther to my 77 year old father.

Guy's those are great grips but do not fit the 45Colt/45acp. Redhawk. It has a round butt grip like a S&W 686. Not the regular square butt. I do not think that those will fit properly on the round butt.

You can still get them here....http://www.gunpartscorp.com/ad/1287770.htm

But like others have said, not for the birdshead.

I'm kind of in the same boat with my regular framed Redhawk. I don't like rubber grips and the Hogue wood grips put the gun at an odd angle. Not much out there I like. I've thus far stuck with factory wood and the Tyler T Grips A fellow on line sells his own version of the Tylers: http://www.bkgrips.com/

I like them because they have two sets of tabs and it holds tighter in place easier. I use the N frame for the Redhawk.
