I have 357 versions of GP100 and SP101 - both with 3" barrels. I'd like some sort of higher visibility front sight. I think that fiber optic models may be available but seem to recall seeing some with brass or white plastic dots in them. Can anyone recommend a sight and supplier ?

thanks

The 3" SP can also be fitted either with a Meprolight or XS Big or Standard Dot sight. For the GP if fixed XS makes a front sight for it as they do for the adjustable sighted one. Also, Meprolight as a front tritium sight with or without tritium rears for the adjustable sighted GP.

Thanks or the input.

Both guns have fixed sights. I am OK with the drilling part of installation.

Have XS Big Dot on a Glock and was disappointed at how fast they went dim (approx. 5yrs). Thought perhaps time to try a different brand/approach.

I put this on my GP100. Works great.

Took longer to open the package than to install it. Front sight can be replaced just by pushing in the spring rod at the crown.
