Was looking through Ruger & His Guns, by Wilson, and there was mention of stainless Blkhwk in .30 Carbine produced in 1974 only. Do they actually exist?

Sorry...Ruger never made a .30 Carbine in stainless.
If it appeared in these RF classifieds, somebody either nickled it to look like stainless or they polished it out.
It is kind of interesting that R. L. Wilson put such a gaffe in his book, because he copied most of the other technical information from other authors. No other author that I am aware of ever made mention of a KBN-31.

we 'Metalifed' at least one that I recall from Ron Mahovsky back in the early 70's when we had our shop, the Metalife SS finsih looks "exactly" like stainless steel and wears better.......

Rumors also abounded of stainless 41 Blackhawks made in 1974.
Taffin and others mentioned the rumors, but have found none to exist.
Would love to have a plain 'ol 6.5" stainless 41 BH. Maybe one day.....

I think I have an early 1974 Distributor and/or dealer sheet that lists stainless .41 Blackhawks.

Chet15; I just checked both of the 1974 Dealer Price Sheets I have, neither one lists a stainless 41 mag Blackhawk. Musta been a distributor price list?
