I ordered and received a pair of the coveted compact GP 100 grips with Rosewood insert. Upon inspection on the left side of the insert, there was a chip in the wood. A call to Ruger, an email with a picture, and new inserts are in the mail. Thanks Ruger for making it right.

Although I almost never use it I was happy with their customer service the couple times I did use it.

I had a similar experience with "Shopruger" off of their website. Bought a new 3" GP100 and didn't like the Hogue grips as way too big for my taste. Had a pair of the Ruger rubber grips off of an early Super Redhawk and put them on. Still a little big. On Shop ruger they had listed a pair of "compact" grips for the GP100. I called and they said out of stock, but would be in in approx 2 weeks or so. I ordered a set. A day later got an email that they were shipped and had a tracking number. 3 days later they arrived. Great service IMO!
