Fitted a 45ACP cylinder to the Liberty Model BH & carry my reloads in a 1911 magazine. I acquired a Bisley 357 sometime back & been watching for some mags. Found some here a week back & purchased them for the 357.

The 357 minus the Bisley grip frame

The mags & carrier

I have never seen a Ruger medallion canted that far off. Those grips may be collectors items for those who collect such things. Nice rig. Enjoy!!!

I would bet they are Desert Eagle .357 mags

My guess would be Coonan .357 mags would be a tad expensive for that purpose.

That is actually a pretty slick idea. I wonder if a 50AE mag would work for 480 R?

Me neither.

Desert Eagle purchased here.

Who made that magazine pouch?

Its unmarked.

These will work for DA sixguns also. Sometimes its easier to carry a mag than speed loaders. Two of these mags carry 18 rounds where it takes 3 of the others.

Yep. It's sorta' like a rotated die to a numismatist: very rarely encountered.
If you were to show us that the other medallion were equally rotated, I would think it was somehow deliberate -but, still uncommon!

*Great idea, btw! :D

Until this thread I never notice how much a magazine looks like a pez candy dispenser. I knew some people used the 45acp magazines, but never thought about getting a .357 magnum magazine, I also never thought about using one for a double action revolver. Thanks

Very cool idea. Thanks for sharing.

Also if you want to send me the leftover Bisley parts, I have a blackhawk that I want to try out as a bis. :)
