Well I picked up a Sp101 .327 on GB today and need to get some different grips for it. I like the looks of the standard grips but they are too small for me (wear a mens large glove). Looks like Hogues in either rubber or wood are about the only option. Anyone tried anything different, how are the Hogues? Thanks

There should be a lot of grips out there for an SP. I have a set of factory, Hogue, and Uncle mikes. Traucsh I think is another that I have heard good things about but am to cheap to shell out the cash for.

Good luck,

Some fellows from Thailand sell grips on eBay that look great and have been reported to fit well. i believe I got a set of sandalwood smith grips from seller jaruwan.p that were great.

I have no experience with Trausch grips, but have looked into them before. Here's a quick article/review:

Well, I just actually read the comments that are posted at the bottom of the page. Apparently Trausch is no longer in business and these are hard to find. So, perhaps I gave you some bum info...sorry.

Besides Hogue Badger and Herrett's make grips for the gun. Herrett will make a grip to fit your hand but they are not cheap. Eagle Grips is another outfit to check. Finally, as noted look at Fleabay at the Thai wood grips. Jaruwan and another individual have grips there:

Above are links to some examples. Also, if you buy a Hogue grip direct from them they
will size it to fit your hand for $35 extra. I have a Hogue on my .357 SP and it fits my hand
which is a 9.5 to 10.

You can get Badger wood grips for the SP101. But you may not be interested in wood grips.

Will do- may be a while with the shipping. I should have the gun next week. I think I will have to have a .32 caliber range day SP101, Single Seven, 16-2, 16-4 and oh yeah colt 1903. Haven't been to the range in forever.
