New Model .357 Blackhawk serial number

I ran across a .357 Blackhawk today with a serial number BELOW the beginning serial number of first New Model 1974 production number that Ruger shows on its website which is 32-33693. This one was 32-02xxx. Its a 6.5" new model not an old model. Any best guess on why the serial number is lower than Ruger has published?

The new model 357 began in 1973 with # 32-00001 which Ruger has apparently left off their website list.

I take it that #32-33693 is a typo. The 2nd year of new model production, 1974, begins with 32-33639.
