I just took delivery of a Ruger Talo Toklat

this has to be the best engineered pistol to come out in some time, IMO. Haven't shot it yet but, will ASAP. Someone at Ruger or Talo sure did their homework. I have been wishing they'd come out in these with Ruger .480 caliber but, settled for the original .454 Casull(a very powerful cartridge with more power than I need, small and light enough to carry on the hip or in a chest holster). If Ruger would of come out with barrel length long ago I'd of own one earlier. Trigger isn't a S&W but, manageable as is. Sights are the usual Ruger adjustable. About time Ruger or whoever!

I have one too, nice gun indeed. Did yours come with 2 front sights? I see where some did and some did not. Mine came with only the red ramp sight, customer service sent me the gold bead sight a couple of weeks ago. I have not yet shot mine either, I'll get it out this spring sometime and try it out. I have no use for a .454 but something just said "get it", so I did.

Glad to hear you got it. I had my 480 chopped down to 5". I actually prefer it now over the flat sides on the Toklat. Let us know how it shoots.

Yes, mine came with all the paraphernalia, plastic box, both red ramp and gold bead sights, fired cartridge, manual etc.
