I'm interested in such a revolver as an alternative to my 4 5/8 SBH since I don't shoot 44 mag much anymore(especially in the 4 5/8). You guys who are more into these certainly know more about the alternatives than I. I can't spend a ton of $$ on this project since I've already bought into an expensive endeavor with Tom.
Any suggestions? Thanks

A quick look at Gunbroker shows that the value is pretty comparable between a SBH and a Blackhawk in 44 spl. Could likely find someone wanting to trade (give or take $100 or so).

I would agree. I'd put a WTT in the classifieds. Probably going to cost $100 to trade, any more than that I'd pass. You don't say if yours is blue or stainless and which you are looking for in the Special, and that might make a bit of a difference one way or the other. Who knows, you may get lucky and someone May want to step up to a little more power and you could get an even steven trade. Gotta get lucky once in a while!!! :)
