The Your Tack Figure Eight. Made like the old days when leather was an industrial material and worked hard.

The Beltman.com makes a fine belt that at first seems expensive, but they last. I've got ten years on my first and still looks good and doesn't flop over with a gun on it.

I would say Jerry Bissell, but he has retired after training an apprentice, who runs Armour Belts: http://www.armourbelts.com/armourbelts/

The best of the best are the kydex lined belts by Barbed Wire Leather.

http://bwleather.com/content.php?page_id=1

We are now offering a Kydex belt, the Kydex is sandwiched between 2 layers of leather. If you need the heaviness of a thick belt so that the Holster does not pull away or twist and you don't want the double thickness of a heavy leather belt, then this is it. The Kydex in the belt stops before the buckle holes and the buckle. We offer 2 widths for this Kydex belt: 1.5" and 1.34". Choose from the list of colors below.

The cost is 75 bucks.

Ok, I have a problem with all these gun belts. It's OK if you guys laugh too.

They are so thick, I can't hang my iPhone (w/ Otterbox Defender) on the other side!
Yes, I need my gun all day at work, but I need my phone too!

Any suggestions appreciated. I already sent back a DM Bullard that was very nice otherwise.

Oh, that's easy.
Get BWleater to make a small pouch for the phone to go with the belt.

Try http://www.concealco.com/

AKJ Concealco offers a thin leather belt with an internal stiffener. I have one and like it.

(Looks like website hasn't been updated in a while. Hopefully still in business.)

i have now went with a triple k 1.5 inch belt made from 10oz leather, carries my ruger service six nice and tight in a desantis owb or pro carry iwb. the daltech force belt was good but was so thick it wouldn't go thru some of my pants belt loops. the best part i caught the triple k on sale on amazon for $2.75 each so i bought three. its the triple k leather garrison belt with solid brass buckle.
