I did keep the hammer. Sent the frame and grips back. I figure (I work in cust service and sales) the hammer cost them about 15 bucks and tried to get them to just send me the bisley hammer free. So not really asking for the world. They are a pretty big company so what would amount to 10% off my order seemed fair to me. The thing that is super frustrating is the wait on the grip frame. I was so excited to get my project going and now it will wait for who knows how long.

I will get over it, just stinks is all.

Side note, Ruger has the grip frame in stock but for 30 bucks more. They also have hunter hammers but she said they limit to two per order. I thought that was wierd but now after you told me how hard they are to get I understand.

I shop much more with Brownells: Hunter frame in stock, $118.99. How does that compare to Midway? http://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts/frame-parts/grip-frames/grip-frame-hunter-ss-prod18828.aspx
If Brownells' website says the part is in stock, you'll be sure to get it in 5 days.

Cancel the Midway order and take the refund.
