Found this unconverted Blackhawk, anybody know what the grips are? They are comfy, but kind of ugly. It has a lot of holster wear and a wicked turn line. $625, seems high to me, ED

Thanks, I was on the fence about the looks, until I held it, they fit my hand perfect. Ed

Ugly ..... yeah, but at least not rubber.

You said it! I actually had a couple pistols with rubber grips in the past until one day I looked at them and realized they looked like hell and their supposed benefit was minimal at best and, at worst, a sham.

I don't know. Carried one identical to that for hog hunting for several years. If a 41 Magnum, I'd say it's worth it. If a 45 Colt and has the extra cylinder, it's worth it. A 357, I'd say it's too high.

It's a flat-top, so it's not a .45Colt. It has the factory front sight, barrel is 4 5/8" and looks to be uncut. I'd say it's a .357 and at least $100-$150 too much.

Yes it is a .357, it is well worn and I think your price is accurate, I was thinking of making an offer on it tomorrow but I think I will just pass on it. Ed

I ended up picking this gun up last month for $500. The old link is dead, here is a new picture of the same gun.

I couldn't resist ordering a new set of grips for it. :D
