I have a super Blackhawk that has been drilled and tapped for a scope mount. I've removed the scope mount and want to fill in the holes that are left. Can anyone tell me the thread size I would need. I took out the factory screws on my mark III 22/45 that came tapped from factory and they are same size. Need to find two of them but in stainless steel.

Just take the bolt to the store with you and screw on a nut. Then by the same size bolt.

Buckhorn,

Go to a local gunshop or gunsmith. They usually have a box full of these from factory guns that were purchased with a scope installed at the store. They are headless screws that sit flush with surface and should be loctited in place if they go in too deep and don't tighten flush. They will usually give them to you for free.
